![]() About two years ago, I was hit by the nasty virus that has been upon us for a few years. I physically felt okay, except that I completely lost my sense of taste and smell. If you know me, you know I love to cook and eat. It's one of my joy in life! Loosing my sense of smell was a case of depressive emotions for me. My senses were off for months until I met someone who taught me how to rehabilitate my sense of smell. When your sense of smell is impaired, taste definitely is impacted. For months, I had a hard time tasting my food. When, it got better, I knew my sense of smell wasn't 100%. After a year of struggles, I started a protocol for olfactory stimulation. That protocol is a combination of meditation, mindfulness and essential oils. You start with a mindfulness meditation for about 15-20 minutes. Than, you smell each oil for 30 seconds without looking a the labels (try to see if you can identify the oils). Then, you smell each oil again for another 30 seconds knowing which oil you are smelling. Once I smelled the oils, I would place one drop of lemon oil on my tongue and try to bring back memories of what it was to eat something with lemon (like lemon pie, lemon cookies, lemon candies). I did that protocol for a few weeks. My sense of smell came back fully within a month. Since then, I've been helping others to rehabilitate their sense of smell. It is amazing how fast it unfolds for them. It is important to use quality oils with the right "frequency". If you are interested in the oils I used for my protocol, click here. If you choose to purchase these oils, I will gladly provide you with the full protocol that I've set in place to help my clients recover their sense of smell. Just reach out!
